Christmas is for the lonely and hurting.

This morning I am thinking and praying for those who have struggled this Christmas season.

God brought Jesus into this world in humble, simple circumstances. Those circumstances were not easy for Mary and Joseph – yet, they embraced what God was doing and were joyfully obedient. God announced the birth of The Savior of the World- His very own Son – to the lowliest of the social rank – Shepherds in a field. This is HOW God CHOSE to bring HOPE to the WORLD. And that is GREAT news for those of us who have carried heavy things on our hearts this Christmas. God sees and He knows and because of Jesus – we do have a reason to be joyful.

This life on Earth is temporary. Our Struggles and the things that hurt us have purpose and they will end. One day. But until then, God IS WITH US – because of JESUS – we are NOT ALONE. And we are not defined by our heartache and failures. God uses EVERYTHING He allows to touch our lives when we submit to His purposes. So don’t give up. Don’t lose hope.  Look up – to God – and BELIEVE. He is writing a beautiful story of redemption and healing in and through YOUR LIFE.

That is what Christmas is about. The story of Redemption – lived out through regular people who endure the hard and persevere through the trials and choose to BELIEVE GOD in the impossible.

Were you facing the impossible this Christmas? Then great, God can work with where you are. You have Hope.

Has your heart been breaking over loss this Christmas? Good news. You have Hope.

TRUE HOPE AND JOY is found in the Birth of Jesus. Not in the temporary things this world offers.

Often it’s in the empty that we find the best and truest gifts of God.

If you need encouragement today, here is a link to a post I wrote back in 2020. It encouraged my heart to read this again. I pray it does the same for you. You can click on this link: The Thrill of Hope

You are seen and loved!
