Psa 145:7 They celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness.
It’s Tuesday! I have always loved Tuesday’s. Not sure why? But Tuesday just seems like a great day to focus on thankfulness. Actually, it’s a great idea for everyday of the week since God has told us in His word to be thankful at all times. I desire that thankfulness be my first thought everyday as I wake up. Thank you, Jesus, for a new day.
Because some days we just need a new day . . . a fresh start.
Lam 3:22 Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.
Lam 3:23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
His mercies are new EVERYDAY! That is good news for us!
There are times we do good to just get through the day. If we made it, we rejoice. We go to bed and thank God that He got us through. Maybe it didn’t look like we had hoped, but we didn’t run away . . . and that’s a win. Tomorrow is a new day and new opportunity to see the goodness of God in our circumstances. Often, that happens when we take our eyes off of ourselves and focus on others.
Today is that NEW day full of NEW mercies! I pray God meets you where you are today. I pray He meets the deepest needs of your heart. He is your strength and refuge. In Him you have everything you need for today.
Psa 145:13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does.
Psa 145:17 The LORD is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does.
